Libby is a free mobile app and web service created by OverDrive that allows users to borrow and read ebooks, audiobooks, and magazines from their local public library, featuring a simple interface, automatic returns, and options to send titles to Kindle devices. To use it, you need a valid Freeport Library card.

How Libby works:
- Add your library card: Once the app is installed, search for Freeport Public Library, select it, and enter your library card number to gain access.
- Borrow and read: Browse the library's digital collection for ebooks, audiobooks, and magazines. You can borrow titles, and if a book is unavailable, you can place a hold and receive a notification when it's ready.
- Automatic returns: All borrowed titles are automatically returned on their due dates, eliminating late fees.
- Enjoy on your devices: Read or listen to your books on your smartphone, tablet, or computer. You can also send many ebooks to a Kindle device or app for use.
- Download the app: Get the free Libby app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
