Food for Fines 2024

Do you have outstanding late fees? In February, we are accepting donations of non-perishable food items. For each food item donated, you will receive a $1 reduction on your late fees. All donations will be taken to the Freeport Area Church Cooperative Food Pantry. We suggest items such as sauces, soups, beans, honey, peanut butter, juices, and fish in oil. This is an excellent opportunity to clear your library fines while contributing to a worthy cause. The Freeport Area Church Cooperative Food Pantry serves individuals and families who are experiencing food insecurity, making your contribution even more impactful. Take a moment to scan your pantry and consider donating any non-perishable food items. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to give back to your community and simultaneously reduce your late fees!
